Winery Tours in South East Queensland

Enjoy the stops. Plan the journey.

Bus Tour Rhymes offers private winery tour bus hire for groups travelling from Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. The 20–43 seat fleet can be considered for a custom day between cellar doors, lunch venues and an agreed return point.

Choose a compact route with time to enjoy each booking. A Tamborine Mountain day, a Sunshine Coast hinterland outing and a longer regional trip have different travel requirements; send the exact venues so feasibility can be checked.

Make the journey fit the occasion

Start with the day you want.

A winery itinerary works best when the venues, tasting times and group size are agreed before the transport is confirmed.

Cellar doors

Give each tasting time

Choose a manageable number of wineries and ask how long their group sessions take. Include time to board and travel between bookings.

Planning tips

Check group-size limits, opening hours and tasting reservations directly with each winery. Transport does not secure a tasting appointment.

Long lunch

Build the day around the table

Make lunch the anchor of the itinerary, with a tasting before or afterwards if the timing works. Let the group enjoy a proper break.

Planning tips

Arrange meals and dietary requirements with the venue. Send the lunch booking time and likely duration when requesting a transport quote.

Your route

Choose one region well

Keep the day focused on a realistic area. Long distances between cellar doors can leave less time for the experiences you actually booked.

Planning tips

If you are considering a longer regional trip, including the Granite Belt, ask for a feasibility check before booking venues. Travel time, hire duration and bus access need confirmation.

Your planning guide

From first tasting to final drop-off.

Use confirmed venue appointments to build the schedule, then allow for the journeys between them.

Share your itinerary

Before you confirm

Check your written itinerary, vehicle and included hours. Read the booking terms before paying.
  1. 01

    Choose

    Shortlist group-friendly venues

Ask wineries about group bookings, tasting duration, food and bus access. Confirm that they can host your passenger count.

  2. 02

    Reserve

Set the tasting and lunch times

Make venue reservations separately and send the times to us. Avoid committing to a tight route before travel has been checked.

  3. 03

    Travel

    Allow time between cellar doors

Include boarding, roads and parking in the plan. Longer hinterland routes need more than the tasting time alone.

  4. 04

    Return

Finish with a shared ride home

Choose the final departure and drop-off point. Tell us if the group needs additional return stops.

Across South East Queensland

Start in your region.

Brisbane

For departures from Brisbane, share your chosen wine region and venue bookings so the outward and return travel can be assessed.

Gold Coast

For a Gold Coast departure to Tamborine Mountain or another wine area, confirm cellar-door access and allow time on hinterland roads.

Sunshine Coast

For Sunshine Coast hinterland outings, send the winery and lunch locations rather than assuming every venue can take a large bus.

Routes, access and travel between regions need to be confirmed. Venue bookings and admission are separate unless included in your written quote.

Put a price to the plan

What does winery tour transport cost?

The bus, pickup region, route length and hours away determine the transport quote. Tasting fees and meals need their own venue arrangements.

Have these details ready:

  • Date and group size
  • Winery addresses and tasting times
  • Lunch booking and expected duration
  • Pickup region and return destinations
Plan our winery transport

We’ll confirm availability and pricing. A request does not reserve a bus.

FAQs.

Practical answers for your group
before you book.

Ask us: 0407 337 535

Are tastings and lunch included in winery bus hire?

Treat tastings, meals and transport as separate bookings unless your written quote explicitly says otherwise. Confirm tasting fees, food and group conditions directly with each venue.

Can we choose our own wineries?

Yes. Send your preferred wineries, addresses and booking times. The team will check the travel plan and bus access. A requested itinerary is subject to feasibility and vehicle availability.

Can you provide transport to Tamborine Mountain?

Tamborine Mountain winery trips can be discussed from your chosen pickup region. Provide the exact venues and passenger count so the roads, access, timing and vehicle suitability can be checked.

How many wineries should we visit?

There is no fixed number that suits every trip. Base the route on tasting durations, lunch and travel time. A few well-spaced appointments can be more practical than many stops with tight deadlines.

Can a large group visit every cellar door?

Not necessarily. Wineries set their own group limits and bus-access rules. Ask each venue to accept your group before finalising transport, and give us any access instructions they provide.

Can we bring purchased wine onto the bus?

Ask the team about carrying your purchases and how they should be secured. Storage varies by vehicle. Do not assume space for large amounts of luggage or boxes without checking first.

Can you organise a longer wine-region trip?

Longer routes can be assessed individually. Send the region, exact stops and desired hours before making venue commitments. Availability, journey duration, access and return arrangements determine what can be offered.
